A woman in her 40s, two weeks after receiving her second combined PRP and laser treatment, responded by saying, “It feels good somehow.”
I was relieved to see a positive reaction, just like the two others before her.
The results of a randomized trial comparing PRP + pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) versus PFMT alone are now available.
In this study, the group that received “two injections of PRP into the urethral sphincter combined with PFMT” was compared with the “PFMT-alone group” at 2 months and 5 months.
While PFMT alone was effective, the study concluded that the PRP + PFMT group showed statistically significant improvement. The study concludes that this combination treatment may offer new hope for the treatment of female urinary incontinence.
It seems that even two rounds of PRP treatment can produce considerable results. ^ ^
